In 2024, the CJP was successful in helping the first UK local newspaper become a charity.
One of CJP’s main missions is to lead qualifying organisations through the process of gaining charitable status, but the process could be long and expensive if you had to consult with our lawyers 1:1. That’s why we’ve put together a handbook for news organisations that want to register with the Charity Commission.
